Staying Calm During The Unknown

Please remember to be precautious but do not allow stress to overcome you. Being stressed activates the flight or fight which equals Anxiety in the body and can lower your immunity and cause less logical thinking. In a time where our immunity and logical decision making is needed for everyone's safety to get through this time of uncertainty it is important to take time to be still. Some ideas are meditation, walking around your neighbor and getting sun, listening to your favorite music to have joy,  continuing to exercise, eat well and sleep. Most importantly limit how much you are listening to news reports, checking in a few times a day just to keep up to date without watching the news for extended periods of time will keep you informed but not induce stress or panic.

INTEGRATIVE MINDFULNESS BASED COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY AND YOGA- 90 MINUTE PRIVATE INTENSIVES

Yoga means Unity- unity of mind, body and spirit. Sheri Lawrence is a Licensed Psychotherapist and Certified Yoga Instructor who believes in the great power of bringing these two processes together for ultimate, long lasting healing. In these sessions you will learn Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in conjunction with gentle movements and breathe work, which anyone at any age and level of fitness can do to heal the nervous system. You will learn how to incorporate these mindfulness based practices into your daily life for recovery and long lasting maintenance of stress induced symptoms. Please go to our articles page to see the research about this form of therapy and how it’s proven to be as effective as medication in treating depression and anxiety.

These are intensive integrative therapy sessions lasting 90 minutes therefor is not covered by insurance. The cost is $160 per session or can be bought in bundles of 3 sessions for a discount of 10% bringing the price to $432. You will be guaranteed 3 weeks in a row for optimal healing as these sessions are not in the regular schedule which is often booked for weeks in advanced.
